Earlier on in this blog I promised to share an exciting secret about success, and the question I posed was “What makes some people so successful in life?”

Everyone wants to be successful in life and it is undeniably an
inner most human desire. Sometimes you see and hear of successful people and wish you were them, or want to be like them. Oftentimes this leads us to impersonate successful characters, simply because we really admire them. But! what is really making them successful?

I will now share this exciting secret. It is my own personal conviction and revelation as a result of own curiosity and life experience. And I thought it is good to share with you all in case some of you just needed me (this secret) to make a complete U-turn in your life!

You have every right to your own opinion after reading me and compare with other prior speakers or writers on the same subject.

This secret is plain simple, and we by default apply it every time. Some, when applying it become so successful and some don’t.  All I did was to put it in its proper perspective so that it is never again misapplied.

This is a million-dollar secret and you will owe me after you have finished reading this article! No, I’m kidding, it’s my pleasure to share with you. But before I reveal, let’s briefly see what philosophy teaches about success. 

Philosophy

Modern education system teaches that you really have to excel in order to be successful in life. The huge failure in this system is that some students drop out along the way unfortunately. And some are trained in areas they are not naturally gifted or good at. The fundamental truth is that no one is a failure, it is the way this system was designed.

Modern hypnotism perceives deep meditation as a medium to alter barriers at the subconscious level in order to succeed in life. Whether this is really working or a pseudoscience is up to the scientific world to prove.

Law of Attraction claims, you can harness the power of the universe to attain what you desire. Could be but it also sounds pseudoscience to me (this is my own opinion).

Even the Bible teaches that with faith nothing is impossible. Its application is more to do with the spiritual aspect as it seem though some relevance on the physical aspect.

The secret to success is so simple but this artificially fancy and complex world comes up with confusing systems of thoughts about the subject and makes it appear too far to reach. But here is finally the secret!

 The very first time you met your boy/girl friend, how was the feeling like? So intense didn't it? After the meeting, you wanted another meeting sooner, but frequently! Missing him or her for a week seemed a year! You know what I mean.

This is called romantic love. This is the only love powerful enough to bind marriages till death. 

In a very similar way, to be so successful,  you have to generate a lot of love or passion (obviously not romantic love) for what you want to do, or what you are good at doing. Without a very strong passion/love, it will be short-lived like marriage breakup! There's no other deep secret than this - generate a lot of passion for what you are doing or plan to do.

WARNING! Not everything is good for you. If you don't have the natural tendency to do something you aren't good at or comfortable with, quit it because it is not meant for you. Don't waste your energy and time on it!

Remember,  we are all different! Not everyone will be Michael Jackson, Sylvester Stallone or Bill Gates. But in our own unique ways that we have great passion for we can always be stars like them too.

The all-time king of pop music, Michael Jackson once said, “if you want to be a star, do what you’re good at and be the best!” And this is possible.

You don’t need education and you don’t need a million dollar to start working on something you love doing or that you plan to do. We were all born with nothing and will return to dust with nothing. What we see in between these extremes are creation of simple men like you and me who came to this world with nothing.

Start doing what you like doing or plan to do. I don’t really care what it is that you want to do. Whether you want to be a singer, a fighter, a businessman, a lawyer, an accountant, a pilot, a visual artist, a preacher, a swimmer, a musician, a footballer, choreographer, a fisherman, a farmer, a mechanic, a carpenter, a driver, and the list is endless. Whatever it is, you must generate a lot of passion towards it.

When is the right time to do?

NOW is the time! You will regret if you put it off to tomorrow! You know what? No one in this world has ever reached tomorrow! Tomorrow will always be tomorrow, and you can’t either change its definition. Kill the killer – Mr PROCRASTINATION and start it right away!

Questions now are: what are you naturally good at? Or, what is it that you have recently fallen in love doing it? However,  if you haven't known yet, start thinking up a list of things and choose one that best fits you.

SUCCESS = GENERATE MORE PASSION IN WHAT YOU DO, AND DO IT TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY 

Wealth, fame, happiness and legacy are byproducts of love doing what you do best!
